This page describes the Return and Refund Policy which indicates the context in which you are eligible for a return and/or a refund on your order. This policy covers the online sales made via Otaku Needs at https://otakuneeds.com.

When can I return my item?
You can return your item if it has a manufacturing defect or if it is not the item that you ordered.
To be eligible for return and refund, the item should be –
- in its original condition,
- in its original packaging,
- accompanied with its original invoice.
How many days do I have to return my item?
You can return any item ordered free of charge, within 5 days of delivery. You can still return the item within 10 days of its delivery, bearing the costs for returning, including but not limited to shipping, taxes, etc. The 10-day window starts on the day you or your representative effectively receives the item at your delivery location.
To notify us of your return, please send an email to the aforementioned email address.
Once we are informed of your intent to return your order, you will have 10 days to send us back the item from the date of your return notification to us.
You do not have to provide any reason for the return. However we would love to get more feedback on the reason of your return so we may contact you to learn a bit more about your experience. This will help us improve our product and the experience for our customers.
Do I need to cover the return shipping cost?
We cover easy and free returns for all domestic and international orders over INR 2000. For all orders below that price, you will have to cover the price of the return. This is applicable for items of over the mentioned value throughout the aforementioned 10-day window, and not just the 5-day period after delivery.
What type of refund can I expect?
If you return your order within the 5 days of delivery, we will refund you by bank transfer or store credit according to your choice and convenience.
If you return your order after that period but within the aforementioned 10-day window, the amount will be refunded in the form of a store credit to be used on our store within the next 6 months.
When will I receive my refund?
We will proceed with the refund within 14 days of receiving your cancellation request. We might however delay the refund if we haven’t received the item within that time window, or we don’t receive evidence that the item was returned.
How much will the refund be?
The refund will cover your order amount including the initial shipping cost, unless you chose a non-standard delivery method such as expedite or express shipping.
We may not refund the initial shipping cost for orders that are partially returned. The additional cost for Cash on Delivery payment option will also not be refunded.
